Bringing Water Services to Communities Nationwide
Established on August 10, 2006, PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp. develops and operates water and wastewater infrastructure projects nationwide. Because water districts cannot by law be sold to private corporations, PrimeWater operates in these areas through joint venture agreements — and by 2021 it had entered joint ventures with around 100 water districts across the Philippines.
The company serves over 1.7 million households and treats more than 500 million liters of water daily. In December 2025, ownership of PrimeWater transferred from the Villar family to Crystal Bridges Holding Corp., an investment vehicle of the Lucio Co Group, in a full buyout.
