Expanding Water Access on the Island Born of Fire
On October 25, 2022, Camiguin Water Company inaugurated its office together with the Tupsan Pequeño reservoir and pumping station, alongside local officials of the province. Following extensive infrastructure upgrades, the company reports that more than 31,500 residents are now connected to its water supply.
CWC also opened a satellite office in Mambajao, the provincial capital, to bring transactions closer to its consumers. It operates the Mambajao Waterworks covering previously unserved areas of the municipality — including Magting, Anito, Kuguita, Bug-ong, Yumbing, and Naasag.
